Horses, Obama and beer!

Saddled back up in the stroller and who should we meet but a lovely lady cop called laura from the park police, on her fine companion called Winsor! (without the d!) winsor a Hanson thoroughbred of 7 years old donated to the park service like most of their horses. He was a little bouncy and he wanted to go for a good old gallop! (she hadnt had time to lung him before coming to the mall) But behaved under lauras rein.

Away from the monument in search of a steak and a beer on our route back to the apartment. Too much excitement for Katy and she fell fast asleep at 5.30pm. So she missed watching the president as he drove past us (well one block below us, but we saw him!) in his 3 limo cavalcade! All the outriders and ontreage!

Found a stroller friendly eatery called green turtle grill. Great food and the beer was very good after all that walking!

The steets outside the grill were closed to traffic as they had about 100 stables set up outside with yet more horses inside! Bizarre sight to come upon! Turns out the grill was part of an exhibition centre place (small earls court) and there was a horse show on! Some beautiful animals.
