Capitol and library of Congress

A rapid deployment from the apartment this morning. Then a quick route march to the Capitol building! All due to a 9.15 booking on a tour of america's democratic centre.
We got there on time for the 0930 tour. All labeled up and clean with a special pass to use all the elevators too! A tour of the old senate and old house of representatives. Very interesting! Katy slept thru most of it but then melted the hearts of the rest of the tour when she woke up smiling away.
A quick zip around the library of congress (No, we didn't get to see the presidents book!) then lunch in the restaurant before all the school kids decended for food too! Stu had to have a hotdog!! I had a salad!
